From my profile in EntryThingy: Artist Statement For the past few years, I have been creating woven bead mosaics in 2D and 3D, and bead installations. Beads allow me the ability to paint with a myriad of colors, transparencies, textures and lusters of light. My work straddles many categories of decorative craft and fine art. I hope that those who view my work will enjoy the sensuous optical, dimensional, and tactile stimuli that I am presenting in them and experience a sense of wonder. My work often celebrates artists of any media, nature, climate change, science, space exploration, and visionary art. This is the time for everybody to emerge after sheltering and masking from contagion. It is time to get out into the sun and enjoy each other’s company. Finally together, our shared delight is enhanced in the beauty and wonder of the natural world.
